Burton’s Pride Animal Rescue, Saving Hundreds of Displaced Animals in Woolsey Fire
Actively raising funds to provide direct support to credentialed first responders Oceanside, CA – November 13, 2018 – Thousands of animals are displaced as a result of the California wildfires. Credentialed volunteers organized by Burton’s Pride have supported first responders to rescue animals in the Woolsey Fire,ranging from livestock to pets, often risking their own lives. The Woolsey Fire Incident Commander has authorized Burton’s Pride to collect donations to immediately support needs of rescuers who are working 24/7 to find and rescue animals at risk. The donations are being used to provide gas, animal transportation large and small, animal food, medical supplies and veterinary care that will improve the success of saving animals impacted by the Woolsey Fire. Those in need of support now, including emergency rescue for themselves or their animals, or to begin the process of locating their displaced animals shouldtext480-643-9676.
